Our Group company (Minerals) is looking for IMMEDIATELY a Business Development Engineer with qualification belows:
Business Development Engineer
REPORT TO : President Director, FLSmidth Indonesia
Regional Manager – Indonesia, FLSmidth Krebs Australia
EXPECTATIONS
Primary Responsibilities:
* Under the direction of senior sales staff from Australia:
o Analyse the existing Indonesian market and develop a strategic plan that will deliver sustained growth in equipment and aftermarket sales
o Develop and implement business plans to exploit and optimize identified new and existing business development opportunities
o Continually review plans to ensure that they continue to support the agreed strategic plan and direction
* Establish and maintain a customer relations management database.
* Provide monthly activity reports to management as agreed.
* Develop new business relationships with Engineering Houses and Mining Companies to achieve familiarization of FLSmidth and Krebs products.
* Work closely with the sales teams to build on existing business relationships, including attendance at customer meetings, reviews etc.
* Identify business opportunities and, in liaison with Australian sales staff, implement plans to progress relevant initiatives.
* Represent the company at industry events, tradeshows etc.
* Maintain high market awareness, particularly early identification of project activity in which FLSmidth / Krebs products could be utilized.
* Co-ordinate and respond to requests for information.
* Monitor competitor activity.
JOB PROFILE/ POSITION DESCRIPTION – COMPETENCIES
Required Skills:
* Tertiary qualification in mechanical or process engineering
* 5 – 10 years experience in mining industry such kind coal/cobber/gold or tin mining
* Demonstrated track record in sales and/or business development so the personality as a technical sales person
* Strong industry product knowledge and a general knowledge and understanding of process/applications
* High level of English language capability, both verbal and written
* Proven ability to communicate and negotiate effectively with internal and external customers to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes
* Excellent relationship development and communication skills along with the ability to influence at all levels
* Proven organizational and analytical skills
* Competence in writing skills
* Strong team, customer service and results focus
Other Requirements:
* Ability to operate independently and unsupervised
* Willingness to travel out of Jakarta or throughout Indonesia at short notice
* Understanding of and ability to work within the control structure of Jakarta-based line management and Australian-based operational direction.
* 3 (three) months probation
